The Progressive Life Center is a non-profit organization located in Osceola, Arkansas.  Our organizations programs are managed and operated by volunteers.  The organization was formed to address the Socio-Economic needs of Children and Families in Mississippi County, Arkansas.

There are four major programs currently operating;  Mentoring and Tutoring Educational Program, Single Parent Self Help Program, Low Income Housing Program and our Community Youth Enhancement Program.

This past summer we operated our summer youth program and served an average of 80 children per day (our capacity based on funds and volunteers) for six weeks.  We were the only organization in the city of Osceola, AR to sponsor such a program.  Our current focus is our Mentoring and Tutoring program.  We want to assist the local School District and the community in the education of our young people to be competent, motivated members of our workforce and community.

In the past years our Mentoring and Tutoring Program has been able to serve 30 to 40 kids weekly during the regular school year.  The demand now is much greater.  In spite of many barriers we will continue to sponsor activities and suppor that will enhance the lives of the citizen of this community.
